Sports Medicine Expertise

Chapel Hill Pediatrics & Adolescents is available as your first resource when evaluating your child’s injury. Our providers are able to evaluate the injury, to decide whether imaging is warranted, and to provide braces or splints as necessary for your child’s recovery.  Additionally, Dr. Walker Robinson is a board-certified primary care sport medicine physician (in addition to being a board-certified general pediatrician).  Dr. Robinson is available for initial injury evaluations and can provide expertise in more complicated non-surgical orthopedic injuries, concussion management, sports nutrition, and preventative injury management in addition to his normal well child care and annual sports physicals.
